This year’s WIN Nova Scotia’s Christmas party was celebrated with the theme “Share Love” from 1 Corinthians 16:14 “Let all that we do be done in LOVE”. It was held at the Bedford Hammonds Plains Community Centre with an ugly sweater costume theme.

It was a joyous event where families were united as we listened to the word of God about the true meaning of Christmas such as the love from God through Jesus our Savior.  The event started with a praise and worship then followed by the word from Pastor Ramon which emphasized on putting our love into action.  Everyone enjoyed the games and the sumptuous feast of food brought by each family. Unexpected presentations were rendered by the different ministries such as the youth, men’s and women’s ministry.  Members who wore their ugliest sweater were awarded and asked to flaunt their beautiful creations on stage.

The highlight in every WIN Christmas party is the gift giving.  It is where families and individuals give out gifts to everyone and simply say “thank you” for the love they have shared.  Christmas might be a regular tradition to most of us but is the most awaited one.  It is the feel of the yuletide season that gives meaning to it. The love, life, forgiveness and JESUS in everyone’s heart is the reason that anyone can be able to share it.
